Wilderness is known for being a culinary, literary and theatrical haven, which is why we were so excited when we got invited to the festival in picturesque Cornbury Park in Oxfordshire last weekend.
We had so much fun meeting loads of lovely kids who were very serious about learning, playing and dressing up (of course!). The variety of activities onsite for the whole family to take part in was breathtaking. We discovered The House of Fairy Tales, where little ones shared their stories, performed dances and interviewed grown ups.
On Saturday, we ate lots of cake at the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and dabbled in a bit of puppetry and poetry. We particularly enjoyed watching the children’s theatre. All the kids were super brave as they braced the stage to tell their own original jokes and performed amazing circus acts.
For mummies and daddies who wanted to experience the Lakeside or book in for a Long-Table Banquet, the Mortimer boutique nannies were on hand to help out. Click on the link below to shop our arty Wilderness inspired collection and don’t forget to watch our behind the scenes video above.
