“I’ve been struggling to put into words how grateful I am for everything that’s happened over the last 10 years. I’ve seen things and places that I’d only ever dreamt of when I was growing up. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and working with some of the most incredible people, and gained friendships that I know I will treasure for the rest of my life.” Harry Styles
Here at AlexandAlexa.com we want to celebrate pioneers from the worlds of fashion, music, sport, business, tech and more.
When it came to choosing a trailblazer who’s hugely experimental, we chose a member of one of the most successful boy bands on the planet, known for fun and flamboyance in the way he dresses.
Styles by name, super-stylish by nature, Harry Styles oozes a stand-out look that has seen him make the front covers of some of the biggest magazines in the world, from Vogue to Rolling Stone.
He’s also become known for his philanthropic and fundraising work for various charities, as well as his support of the LGBT+ community.
We applaud his bohemian spirit and his utterly unique take on fashion.
Did you know…
Harry auditioned as a solo act for TV singing show The X Factor in 2010, singing Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t she lovely”.
He made it to bootcamp, but no further. However, he was put together with four others in his age group to form a band who later became One Direction – one of the biggest boy bands in history.
One Direction’s debut album, Up All Night, featured three songs co-written by Styles, and was the first ever debut album by a British group to reach number one in the USA.
Harry divides his time between homes in London and the Tribeca area of New York: he actually owns three homes in the same part of London, and recently sold a house in the Sunset Strip area of California.
Our pioneer made it into the record books by being the first solo male on the front cover of Vogue magazine. His outfit of choice for the shoot was a Gucci gown.
Harry has (to date) 60 tattoos. One of them, on his arm, features the words Late Late and was done during The Late Late Show With James Corden on national TV!
“Treat People with Kindness” is a slogan Harry has used since his debut tour in 2017. He originally had a guitar pin with the words on, and had more tour merchandise made which featured the phrase, before writing a track, “Treat People with Kindness”, which appears on his second studio album Fine Line.
It promotes his message of love, acceptance and kindness to people.
