CONGRATULATIONS! HOW FAR ALONG ARE YOU?
Thank you so much. We are currently 30 weeks. Can hardly believe how fast this pregnancy is flying by.
WHAT’S THE MOST INVALUABLE PIECE OF ADVICE THAT’S BEEN GIVEN TO YOU SINCE YOU’VE BEEN PREGNANT?
Readers will be probably shocked to read this but take time for YOU. Whether that’s sleep, taking the time to take this new chapter all in, setting new boundaries to protect your peace.
WHAT HAVE YOU ENJOYED MOST ABOUT YOUR PREGNANCY?
The kid’s reaction and how much we are enjoying not knowing the sex of the baby. It’s building up so much anticipation from all of my family and friends. It’s quite hysterical.
WHAT ARE THE BIGGEST LIFESTYLE CHANGES YOU’VE MADE SINCE GETTING PREGNANT?
To be honest not a thing. For once, I am just riding the wave and enjoying all of it.
HAVE YOU DISCOVERED ANY BEAUTY SECRETS ALONG THE WAY?
Yes!!! Thank God my skin has been great to me this time around. But I’ve become a huge fan of Korean skin care products and their skin routine. In the morning, I used one of the scrubs and keep it on until it’s time for me the house and apply Moroccan oil after I wash it off. It gives me such a glow with minimal makeup.
This time I’ve learned to really be at peace and not apologize for how I feel or things that may arise.
WHAT ARE YOUR TOP STYLE TIPS FOR MAMAS-TO-BE?
Be comfortable. I have seen and became inspired by so many mamas-to-be and their style. Some of It, I even dared to try and midway getting dressed, I’m like okay I can’t do this. I have to be comfortable. There is nothing worse than becoming uncomfortable while being pregnant. It’s like setting your mood swings up for disaster.
WHAT WOULD BE YOUR DREAM BABY SHOWER GIFT?
Best question ever by the way. With this being baby#3 for us, we surprisingly don’t need much of anything but essentials. I have adopted a minimalist approach this time around, and less is best. But it could be completely honest, the dream baby shower gift would be something for me or my and husband and I to do together. Selfish much? But maybe a gift card to the spa for a massage or facial. The baby will get regardless, but sometimes parents are overlooked so much.
DO YOU FEEL THIS PREGNANCY HAS CHANGED YOU?
Absolutely, 100%. I have never taken the time to truly enjoy the first two pregnancies. Always a nervous wreck or allowed the new changes to disrupt my thoughts completely that’s I just wanted the baby to come already. Of course, I have moments of this pregnancy. But this time I’ve learned to really be at peace and not apologize for how I feel or things that may arise. That’s a huge thing for me.
AND FINALLY, WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO MAMAS-TO-BE WHO ARE IN THE EARLY STAGES OF PREGNANCY?
Take time to soak it all in.Whatever feelings you have, good or bad, acknowledge them and allow yourself to feel what you feel. Take time to bond with the baby and not get so caught in and everything you have to do before the baby comes.
