It’s officially Christmas month, and here at Alex and Alexa, we couldn’t be more excited about it.
It might be the beautiful twinkling lights, the enchanting atmosphere or the festive music that follows us as we wander around town, but the second the calendar hits December, Christmas is officially here. It never fails to make us happy and nostalgic, thinking about all the merry festivities, the carols, and what it’s truly all about: our loved ones – the people we call family. Whether they are the family you were born with or the ones you find along this magical journey, Christmas isn’t the same without the people you love the most.
Whether they are the family you were born with or the ones you find along this magical journey, Christmas isn’t the same without the people you love the most.
With that in mind, our Advent Calendar is back this year with a very special theme. In the days leading up to Christmas, you’ll be able to meet and get to know our A&A Christmas Family members, who have all prepared special treats and gifts for you each day. Featuring lovable characters that will be familiar to you, our Christmas family is very happy to welcome you to their merry festivities and can’t wait to spend twelve magical days leading up to the big day with you, sharing lovely presents and exciting treats. I won’t spoil the surprise – but you won’t want to miss any of these days! So get excited and make sure to follow our Advent Calendar on site and on our Instagram account starting Sunday.
In the meantime, get inspired by our Christmas gift guide, featuring curated pieces for baby’s first Christmas, the best toys and even whimsical items to dress your home. We also had the chance to interview Allysha of Island of Sea about motherhood, following your instincts and the importance of giving yourself a break. For those looking for fun projects to do at home, our Life + Style Contributor, Lucy Felton has shared a Woodland Wreath DIY that will add a beautiful touch to your home. There is also an elegant and timeless Christmas version from last year, which you can view here.
So time to crank up the music, do a silly little dance, decorate the Christmas tree and wait for Santa and his reindeers to come.
I can hear the faint bells ringing…
