After a whirlwind weekend in at Playtime Paris, our buyers headed back on the Eurostar for the start of Bubble London 2015.
The event, which started on Monday 1st of February, was host to over 280 exhibitors from across the childrenswear industry – including kid’s clothing, footwear, accessories, toys, gifts and homeware brands.
Our buyers always love visiting Bubble as it’s held at Islington’s vibrant Business Design Centre in AlexandAlexa’s home city of London and were keen to catch up with some homegrown talent including Rachel Riley and Project Jelly.
The space was as bustling as ever when the team arrived, and journalists, bloggers, buyers and brands alike were excited to see what’s in store for kids for AW15.
The Rachel Riley collection was infused with the brand’s signature British appeal. Our buyers particularly loved the gorgeous Fair Isle jumpers, tartan dresses with Peter Pan collars and rickrack embroidery. All perfect for Christmas!
The brand were also very excitedly showcasing their collaboration with Start-Rite shoes. The collection is the perfect mix of Rachel Riley’s pretty metallic finishes, printed fabrics and girly bows and Start-Rite’s classic shapes.
Other highlights included seeing Project Jelly‘s new Jelly Wellies, which will be exclusive to AlexandAlexa for SS15; and catching up with Molo. We are very excited about the brand’s fun new collections!
