We went up to the picturesque Black Mountains of Brecon Beacons in South Wales to explore Green Man Festival this weekend. Boy! Did we have an awesome time! With ten entertainment areas in lush Welsh Wilderness, we loved hanging out in Einstein’s Garden and the Little Folk area. There was great variety of arts and science activities to keep little ones occupied. We particularly enjoyed learning about bones, stargazing and even took part in some apple bobbing! There was also an incredible tree house for mini-festival lovers to chill out in and a special glitter lady to brighten up their little faces.
In the evening, everyone kept warm around the all-night bonfire and tucked into the delicious locally sourced food and smoothies. In the beating heart of the breathtaking Black Mountains stood the mystical Green Man himself. Festival goers – big and small, wrote their wishes on little tags and hung them on the Green Man in time for it to be set alight on Sunday night.
