BoomTown Fair is a pop-up city where the impossible is possible and abnormal is normal! Over 400 artists are set to perform within the make-believe metropolis this summer. BoomTown is made up of nine very distinct colourful and characterful districts, each celebrating their own musical genres and dedicated fancy dress themes! Kidztown is the place for mini boomers to have their well deserved fun. It’s play space, jam-packed with boomtastic children’s entertainment, in which the grown ups can have just as much fun getting involved. The much loved mini-festival within the fair hosts a huge selection of activities and interactive installations as well as music marvels.
At Green Man, you can experience a festival adventure for all the family with their brand new action packed areas for kids and teens. Little Folk is a colourful haven for tiny tots and kids up to 12 year olds. This magical wonderland is filled with the madcap circus, a making things tent, fantastical fancy dress and musical storytelling. Your little ones can even make friends with the Mad Hatter and his chums. He won’t be hard to spot, he’s on stilts! In the mysterious wonderland, the whole family can step inside the musical playground of the Soundgarden, get arty with Acorn Animations, make amazing shadow puppets with the wonderful Mr Wolf Collective and so much more.

Womad attracts musicians and revelers from every corner of the globe. The festival naturally welcomes an amazing array of culinary backgrounds, this year it will celebrate this annual fusion of flavours by becoming a foodie heaven in its own right. Womad’s Children Cookery Workshop and Taste the World Restaurant will give the whole family an opportunity to learn a new culture in an intimate setting, as well as trying out rare and exotic dishes. Running everyday of the festival, the classes will be curated by Jamie Oliver’s Food Foundation Ambassador Danny McCubbin.
