We’re well into half term and we’ve eaten ice creams in the park, visited the zoo, watered all the plants in the garden and now we’re, well, bored. There’s only one thing for it… it’s time to get out the paper, glue and scissors.
If you’ve got some spare time to fill this half term break, we’ve put together this feather crown craft project. Super easy and lots of fun to make, they’ll have hours of fun dressing up in it afterwards too—so it’ll banish boredom (for a good few hours at least). If the colours we’ve chosen are a bit too girly, go for brighter tones and use stickers instead of jewels to decorate the front.

WHAT YOU NEED
Stick on gems
Scissors (always ask for help from a grown up)
Make a band to go across the front of the head by measuring 1″ width and costing down the length of an A4 piece of card. Always make sure there is adult supervision when using scissors! Decorate the band with stick on gems, washi tape and glittery card. Take two lengths of ribbon, stick to the ends of the card (at the back) and cut to fit around your head. Cut feather-shapes from the rest of your card. Stick the feathers to the back of the headband. Once the glue has dried, you’re ready to wear your feather crown!
