EASY COSTUME IDEAS FOR WORLD BOOK DAY

ANGELINA BALLERINA

This costume requires no sewing skills and will be loved by girly girls. All you need is a pink leotard and tutu, ballet slippers and a mouse ear head band.

DENNIS THE MENACE
Dressing up as this mischievous comic character is easy. Just combine a red and black striped top, black shorts and stomping boots.

KING HENRY VIII
The Tudor ruler features in many books – historical and fictional. To re-create his look, combine a crown, cape, knickerbockers and tasseled loafers.

WHERE’S WALLY
All that’s needed for this elusive character is a red and white striped t-shirt, a beanie, blue trousers and a walking cane.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND
This well-loved character’s costume can be made with a blue dress, white apron, hairband, Mary Janes, a white rabbit toy and a little bottle labeled ‘drink me’.
