BE OUR BUYER: Cyd and Emma, leading the way with surprising prints for kids

October 16, 2012

CYD AND EMMA KIDS CLOTHES

This grin-popping collection was born when creator Emma St John Gray decided to combine classic styles for children with surprising vintage prints. Now parents can buy cutest hand-crafted styles in retro pin-up girl patterns, 70s cocktail prints and tash-tastic moustaches. These unexpected combinations lead one of AlexandAlexa’s senior buyers to decree that Cyd and Emma is one of their favourite brands to ever be featured in the BE OUR BUYER sale. Will you agree? Join us this weekend to try Cyd and Emma for yourself.

CYD AND EMMA BRAND PROFILES

Emma scours the world to find the perfect prints, each one has its own quirky charm. Inspired by her own little daughter Cyd, the designs are created with  the needs of a child in mind. All  of her designs are hand crafted from 100% cotton for comfort and durability. Also keep an eye out for thoughtful details such as contrast piping and mix-match reversible linings.

Cyd and Emma’s signature pieces are their dresses. The classic piping dresses can be worn as a top when a girl gets older, or layered over leggings and long tops in the winter. Choose from the reversible styles if you would like two looks in one – little girls will love the idea of a secret hidden print.

We simply can’t get enough of these lovely patterns and can’t wait to see the brand’s line of nursery cushions coming soon.

WE LOVE the sweet Frida Kahlo dress, a tribute to one of the world’s history’s great artistic rule breakers
